Rental Terms and Conditions

• Included in the rental price: repair kit, helmet and lock. For hygiene reasons, water bottles are not available for rental; they can be purchased at a preferential rate of €3 per bottle.
• Bikes can be collected from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. No bike collection or return is possible between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please come before 12:00 p.m. or after 2:00 p.m. to collect or return bikes.
• It is possible to collect the bikes between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the day before your rental, for an additional fee of €5.
• We do not rent bikes by the hour, therefore:
• 1 rental day = 9:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
• 1/2 rental day = 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• On Sundays and Mondays, the shop is closed, but you may rent bikes by booking directly with the shop and under specific conditions, with different prices and opening hours. On Mondays, bike collection and departure are not possible, but bikes may be collected or returned on Sunday evening between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Please contact us for more information. Advance booking is mandatory.
• Loading bikes into car boots is prohibited. Except in special cases, bike transport must be reported in advance. Bikes must be transported on suitable bike racks or in a van-type vehicle. All loading will be checked and may be refused.
• Please note that trailers cannot be fitted to electric bikes, carbon road bikes or mountain bikes. They can only be fitted to standard hybrid bikes.
• For electric bikes rented for more than one day, we will provide a charger, approximately 2 metres long. However, the battery of the electric bike is not removable, so the bike must be able to be charged directly from a wall socket. Many holiday rentals, guest houses, hotels and private homes have a garage or equipment allowing bikes to be charged directly. Please also make sure that electric bikes can be stored overnight in an enclosed, secure place protected by a roof.
• If the weather conditions are too bad, the rental booking may be cancelled.
• Guided rides may be available depending on your preferences. Booking is required; please ask at the shop for more information.
• A security deposit, the amount of which depends on the bikes and the number rented, is mandatory by bank card. If the deposit cannot be made, the bikes will not be rented. An identity card, passport or driving licence will be requested.
• Electric children’s bikes are available from age 12 or from a minimum height of 1.45 m, for children who are already confident cyclists. Prices are similar to adult electric bike prices.
• All bike bookings, whether made online or by email, must be validated and confirmed by the shop. Otherwise, the booking is not considered effective.
• Bikes may also be rented directly at the shop without a booking, subject to availability. Please also allow for some waiting time before departure.
